1. Only in America...
Is a Pizza at your home faster than an Ambulance.

2. Only in America...
Are there Handicapped parking-spots in front of a ice skating rink.

3. Only in America...
Do sick people have to walk all the way to the back of drug stores to get medication, while cigarettes are at the front of the store.

4. Only in America...
Do people order a double cheeseburger, a large order of fries and a diet Coke.

5. Only in America...
Do banks leave their doors wide open, while pens are chained to tables.

6. Only in America...
Do people park thier cars in the driveway, while worthless crap is stored in the garage.

7. Only in America...
Do people use answering machines to hear who is calling before answering, then put the call on hold, so that they don't miss a call by people who they didn't want to talk to in the first place.

8. Only in America...
Are hotdogs sold in ten-packs and the befitting buns in eight-packs.

9. Only in America...
Is the word "politics" use to it's actual meaning - Poli is latein for Blood Auger.

10. Only in America...
Are there drive-through ATMs with braille.

Right on, I act older than my actual age

You Are 28 Years Old

28

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

The following video is of the song Chipper Jones uses when he walks up to the plate for the Braves. I saw him last week and liked the song...

German Hip-hop

Whenever I get homesick, which has been like every day lately, I just pop in the CD of my favorite group, which does german hip-hop. I just sing along and instantly feel much better... Ja, ja die Beginner... sind... back... around... the... act! I also miss soccer, but now can watch highlight of the german league on Fox Soccer Network! This simple fact gave me instantaneous gratification of my decision to get digital cable. FSN (Fox Soccer Net), is probably the only reason I'm gonna keep the digital cable, because I was having second thoughts for the longest time.

The future

"Hard to predict the future is, always in motion it is." Well spoken Master Yoda, but that doesn't help me now! I'm so confused, dunno what to do. I definitely am going to get my master's degree in t he fall somewhere in florida, so much is certain. But where? Do i take the easy way out and go to school near by and get a watered down degree? Or, do i go to a school with a prestigious Communication program like FSU or UF. I dunno. What i really wanna do is go the Miami of course, but $40k a year is no joke, even with grants, and scholarships... Anyway, I will continue to doubt any decision I make about the future for a while... that's all that is for sure...
In other news: Spring Training has started! Yes! I love the smell of fresh cut grass, dip juice, sunflower seeds, guys scratching their crotches, and all that goes along with that... Anyway. I will be going t o a crap load of games this year, as I have been saving up ever since I started my new job! Yeah 4 me! Just for the record, I'm still looking for people to go to spring training games with me all over florida, so just shoot me a line or two, if you're interested.
Peace, it's Friday night and time to party!

Goldfish

I love my Goldfish! Getting them 2 weeks ago was a great spontaneous idea. The three of them are awesome ( Bubbles, Darth and Flounder). Bubbles is the largest and bullies the other two, especially during feeding time, but I made sure that there are plenty of places for all of them to hide. Gotta go and work a paper... Later ya'l!

Salad

Many things in life are overrated. People that know me, know that I feel that people tend to overrate things. Anyway one thing that is way too UNDERrated is salad. Let us take today for example, I wasn't sure what to eat, but I felt this strong subconscious urge to eat something I hadn't in a while... So, I pull into Arby's after hitting the Driving Range, because I hadn't been there in a while and I look at the menu. NEWSFLASH: Yes, I look at the menu forever, ask the person on the other end a million questions and take forever to make up my mind. Anybody, who has been to a drive thru with me will know this. Anyway, I see the "Martha's Vineyard" Salad and feel ballsy, so I order it... To make a long story short, after stopping into Petsmart for my fish real quick, I end up eating this thing while watching an episode of Desperate Housewives I had Tivoed and wow... it rocked! I forgot how good a good salad can be! Salad is way too underrated, just like apple juice, unlike orange juice, which is overrated!
I also rediscoved my love for Golf, but that's a totally different story ;-)
P.S. Below is a picture of me when I was about 2 :-D

Cable TV

Is comin' tomorrow. Honesty, I'm kinda afraid of it... call me a pussy, but i was addicted to it before and i'm afraid to do so again. I get all my news from the the NY Times, plus i rent DVDs on Netflix, but the digital combo (i.e. cable internet + digital cable) is only $89 right now. So, that's a good deal... anywho, krystal burger rox. Just always remember: make sure the juice is worth the squeeze ;-)
