Working for the weekend

Wow... it's only Monday and already my new motto is kicking in: Working for the weekend. Last weekend was cool... went to a magic game for FREE! United Way got free tickets donated. Anywho, hung out in Orlando afterwards. So much has happened. I guess I'll write about it when I get some time. Gotta get back to this paper for my Cultural Studies Class.
P.S. If you haven't seen Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, you are a major LOSER! So get off your ass and rent it! NOW DAMN IT ;-)

Update coming soon! (hopefully)

You Are a "Don't Tread On Me" Libertarian

You distrust the government, are fiercely independent, and don't belong in either party.

Religion and politics should never mix, in your opinion... and you feel opressed by both.

You don't want the government to cramp your self made style. Or anyone else's for that matter.

You're proud to say that you're pro-choice on absolutely everything!

Not 100% correct, but close

You Are a Liberal for Life

You've got a bleeding heart - and you're proud of it.

For you, liberal means being compassionate, pro-government, and anti-business.

You believe in equality for every person, and you consider yourself universally empathetic.

Helping others is not just political for you ... it's very personal too.

Yeah, whatever

Here are some random thoughts:
Gotta get up in less than five hours, but I can't sleep. This sucks... Closed at Publix tonight, which really sucked (had to mop and didn't get out till 11:30)

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving, it's my favorite holiday of the year. It used to be Christmas when I was little, but now since I've moved out I love the good food on Thanksgiving! It rocks!

Discovered Jay-Z versus Linkin Park... it's absolutely awesome! I haven't been able to listen to anything else, it actually manages to kick Taking BAck Sunday out of my stereo (which means a lot!) It's so awesome how both artists come together and stay true to themselves and feel the fusion, which the "smashing" of their two styles brings out.

My parents get here on Saturday. Right on!

Have a crap-load of stuff to do for next week. Ten page, five page and three page paper. Two in-depth presentations and stuff at the United Way... Best of all: I haven't started yet.

Been lonely lately... Dunno what exactly is going on as I'm not able to put a finger on it. I'm always tired, no matter what, then I can't sleep at night (like now). Maybe the fact that number three of my friends is getting married on Saturday... I dunno. Oh yeah, found out today that the average staring salary for a Communications Manager (my future job) in Brevard is (drum roll please!!!) $59,000. Wow! I'm rich bitch! Well, at least hopefully soon ;-)

Lave all who read this. Have a great day and always remember that a smile is contagious!

no subject

It is the middle of the night
And I'm not asleep
Because I send you a thousand thoughts
And keep missing you more and more

You are not lying beside me
I cannot feel you
And I cannot ignore it
The Fear, of losing you

To believe that you are doing good
And that you do not think of me
Hurts me
It is a bad feeling
That torments me

Don't you ever think back
Of our beginning
Where it were good, only to be in love
And hope that one is enough for the other one

And when did this day come
When the first doubts came up
Whether our path
Really is endless

What can one do
When the heart burns
When the flame deeper
Eats into the soul
What can one do
When the heart burns
When except ashes of the love
Nothing more remains
What can one do

From where does the hate come
That conducts us
To attack again and again
Just to argue about each little anything

With razor-sharp words
We stab into each-other
Cut up our love
We are helpless in this manner

What can one do
When the heart burns
When the flame eats
Any hope from the soul
What can one do
When the heart burns
When except ashes of the love
Nothing more remains
What can one do
What can one do
What can one do
What can one do

Frankie's Wings and Things

Don't ever get the hot wings at Frankie's Wings and Things, unless you are ready to deal with the consequences. You know that juicy crap that drips off of the wings and settles in the bottom of the basket? -> Anyway, that's the way it looks when it comes out... Soo: Be warned!!!
In other news, I'm all settled into my new place and have begun to make it my own. It's comfy and homey.
Took my second test in my HTML class and found out that our group project will replace the final! Awesome! That means no finals at all for me this semester. However, I also found out that I have to do a HUGE presentation at the end of my Internship, because it's a six credit class.
Going to bed, I'm dead tired and gotta get up at the crack of dawn to go grocery shopping with my Grandma.

SSDD

Same Shit DifferentDay. And I'm enjoying it... what a weirdo. Anyway, life is good. Working as usual here in my office as I do every Monday and Friday from 8 to 5. Just like a real working man, at first it felt really weird, but know it feels "right." Can't wait to graduate and be Brevard's most eligible "bachelor," with a real bachelor's degree.

In other news, my Grandfather is still in the hospital after having open heart surgery on monday with five bypasses (yes FIVE). He's doing really good. At first it was REALLY scary, but he's one though cookie. I'm still working on catching up with everything, because I was in the hospital at his side since last Wednesday. Plus, I bought GTA: San Andreas, the best video game ever! (at least till the sequel comes out;-)

My boss just popped in and asked what I was doing. I said "Writing in my online journal;" and she replies "Cool Beans! Finish that up and then come to my office, I need you to something for me." I love this J-O-B!

Stay tuned for more

Not much new, except...

Not much new to report, the weeks are going by really fast as of late. Same routine every week... Last week-end was awesome. Went up to Jacksonville like every year for the Georgia-Florida game. Georgia finally won for the first time since 1997. Was drunk from Friday morning (got friday off so we could go up thursday night) till Sunday morning. On a VERY sad note, my beloved Miami Hurricanes lost to North Carolina! What the heck! North Fucking Carolina! Anyway, a sad day in Hurricanes history...
Anyway, I've been very bust working on a webpage, which I created as a school project and it just took off from there. Go check it out at: mainz05.us! It rules!

Went campaigning on November 2nd for the same guy I voted for in 2000.... NOT BUSH! We got about 1% of the popular vote in the country, so I'm kinda down about that, but hey we have to let people know that there's an alternative to the big two.

Enough time wasted! Go check out mainz05.us!

In other news, my grandfather is in the hospital. To make a very long story short: I was there ALL day today and it looks like he will need quadruple (yes, I said quadruple) open heart bypass surgery. So, I haven't been able to sleep. I guess I just worry too much.

Saw "The Grudge" with Sarah Michelle Gellar (extremely hot) yesterday and am still freaked out by it! Wow, usually a movie doesn't mess with me that much, but this one did. It freaked me out... anyway, Eric's rating: 4.25/5. But beware, it's extremly scary.
